Performance Curve

Honda 4 Stroke Bicycle Engine Kit

Approximately half the operating cost of most 2-stroke engines

Efficient 4-Stroke technology not only offers superior fuel economy, it also requires no mixing of oil in the engine’s fuel supply. This substantially reduces both oil consumption and the emission of unburned oil in the exhaust.

An exclusive Honda rotary-slinger lubrication system keeps oil in a completely misted state and circulates it using pressure fluctuations generated by the movement of the piston.

Built-in passages effectively return the circulated oil to the oil reservoir from every part of the engine. An oil return port positioned in the center of the reservoir prevents oil from accidentally flowing into the combustion chamber.

The results include better all-around environmental performance and operating costs that actually decrease the more the engine is used!

Belt-driven OHC design

In addition to the milder operating noise of 4-Stroke engines in general, the Mini 4-Stroke’s belt-driven OHC design further reduces unpleasant mechanical noise. Its lighter piston and other moving parts help keep vibration to a comfortable level.

5 out of 5 Brilliant Design!

This engine kit is by far the simplest most efficient design I have found in my quest for finding the perfect bicycle engine, well worth the price and a great buy all around. I have had a few small engines to tinker with for the past few years, all were Chinese 2 strokes engines 80 cc for a few and one 50 cc. The Chinese kits are much cheaper and terrible overall, no durability or dependability what so ever, they would literally require you to bring a tool bag with you everywhere you go to be prepared for when they inevitably break down or fall apart routinely at least every other ride. Folks I’m not exaggerating this either the Chinese 2 stroke engines could not be relied upon to take you on a long trip or even a commuter to work Not to mention they got mediocre gas mileage and the fact that the engine sits inside the bicycle frame between your legs means your pants will probably smell like gas from the carburetor rubbing against your pant leg the whole way to work. And with how the drive system with the junk 2 strokes works you have to add a second chain to the other side of the bike, which is a ton of work to put on or take off if need be, at that point it doesn’t remotely feel like a bike anymore but just a really poorly made and dangerous motorcycle. I also had to constantly buy replacement parts for them and had to buy a replacement engine twice over a two year period. I am so happy I discovered this company it really has been wonders. I have only had my build for about a month but I love every minute of it, the lightness of the motor, the ease of installation, the belt driven design is design is brilliant! my friends love it and I get positive comments on the streets about it everyday! It powers the back wheel without any installation headaches and doesn’t make the bike heavy or clunky, it feels like how a bike should feel like, there is barely any friction from it when riding with the motor off and is simple and easy to take off completely. The motor is very quiet, its a honda gx35 4 stroke, has excellent power Im 245 lbs with an additional 20 lbs of gear on me and my bike cruises at an easy 20 mph with minimal pedaling… 9 mph up the steepest hills and im not even breaking a sweat! My smaller friend at 190 lbs can do the same at almost 30 mph flat land 15 uphill. Gets phenomenal fuel economy I fill it up about twice a week and i commute about 30 miles round trip a day without any problems at all. I have put on almost 600 miles on my engine without a hiccup and the customer service with GE is amazing, I punched in the wrong address when ordering my kit and didnt notice until after I submitted it, shot them a message about the inconvenience and they replied with an email and phone call correcting the issue almost instantaneously THATS customer service ! Great buy thank you Golden Eagle you guys have made another customer happy!!!

    5 out of 5 After 3000 miles

High praise for this kit. Buying this kit with the Honda Engine was the best thing I have done in a long time. I have had absolutely no problems with it at all. I have put almost 3,000 miles on my bike since I got it in January of 2015. It starts very easily and runs quietly. I know I am supposed to get about 180 miles to a gallon but I actually get 203 per gallon. The kit is very solid. My bike is a Sun Cruz. With the engine mounted the bike weighs 56 pounds.

Thanks, as you can see the kit worked out great on this aluminum Electra 3 speed. Just had to offset the axle spacing a bit for enough threads to get the nuts back on. I’ll be customizing the rear fender mounts soon to re-install that as well.

Very pleased with the performance of the Gebe on this bike. I also have a regular bike with a China 2 stroke engine kit on it. The Gebe is so much better and is a far superior value, totally worth its price.

5 out of 5 I put over 14,000 miles on my ride

Hey there Chef Bryan here. I am currently on the Oregon coast and have been using your 34.5 cc engine kit and I lurv it! My first kit was a 24.5 cc and it was awesome as we’ll, I put over 14,000 miles on my ride, her name was Bella, as an experiment I built a cruiser using a chain kit and to tell the honest truth, it was a waste of time and a real pain to keep in shape. My GEBE kit is so smooth and it only took me about 30 minutes to install! Yippee I get around so efficiently and get positive comments every day. You guys should have patches and stickers and shirts to promote your kits, serious. Give us something to promote with! I don’t mind explaining to these interested potential customers, but wow , EVERYDAY someone asks me about my ride. Cheers to you and yours!

5 out of 5 Just simply the best!

    Hello!

I bought a trek pure 7 speed bike to put the Golden eagle kit on it and it is the best bicycle engine kit I have purchased! I had bought a friction drive powered by honda 35 cc and it was a joke!
When I got done reading info about this friction drive system I believed that friction drive was the way to go boy was I wrong!

After wearing out tires and having to work on the darn thing every time to make it home I new that the friction drive was not what I wanted!
After finding the golden eagle web site i ordered a kit less motor and put my Honda 35 cc on it and have made trips of 60 miles with no worries of making it home!

I have been riding the bike into the wind using the engine to assist my pedaling and turn around and take the belt off and tape it to frame and ride the bike back with the wind on my back!

The kit is easy to install and it just keeps going and going with no worries of making it home!

5 out of 5 The Golden Eagle Kit surpassed my expectations.

Just returned from a 850 mile trip in West Virginia. The Golden Eagle Kit surpassed my expectations. The trip included about 13 steep mountain pases, several dirt roads and alot of rough pot holed roads. The rim is still true and belt looks great.

I took along several different gear sizes and the 14 handled most anything with the Honda engine and some pedaling but a few times I was glad I had taken the 13 for steeper mountains.

Awesome product and very quiet a real joy to ride. One day was 160 miles and I was ready for more the next day thanks to the minimal vibration. Prior to getting the Golden Eagle, 70 miles was about my limit in this type of terrain.

5 out of 5 MOTORBIKE for GRANDPA

Today was my first trip to work with the bike.
Had lots of fun, everyone smiling. My friend a Golden Eagle 🙂

I had been looking for a 26″ motorbike for some time. Everywhere I looked someone was trying to sell me a small scooter. I wanted something on hand in case of a gas crisis. I didn’t start out to build but I wanted a beach cruiser (tank style) . It turned out to be fun. (may do it again)

After getting a little education from Motor bicycling & U-Tube I found a bike made by Micargi. The bike is a Falcon GTS 26″/w68 spoke (red) Purchased from Metra Corp , info@bikebuyers.com

A front wheel from Sturmey Archer with hub brake, gave me more stopping power. I ordered a Honda GX 35 S3**motor available over the net ($235). I purchased Golden Eagle Kit & HD replacement wheels. The kit was complete & service great.

Problems started when it became evident the motor straps did not have enough axle to rest on. Spent many hrs trying to figure it out. Axle was just not long enough for this model frame. Had to purchase 7″ axle, from local bicycle store. Axle material 3/8x24t can be obtained in form of hardened threaded rod 3′ length, locally , or from: Fastenal Co. Highland In. 219-924-3980

Only problems were with the design of this bicycle models frame. Once I changed the axles everything came together in no time.

Bike has plenty of power, 25/30mph, quiet, can be used on & off trails legally.

    Thank you Golden Eagle.

5 out of 5 Everything went together perfectly

Thanks for all the help and advise with my new bike. You guys at golden eagle were great and everything went together perfectly. Here is my soft cruise reversible propane Honda gx35 golden eagle bicycle. The bike would be nothing without the golden eagle drive. I took my first long ride and it’s amazing. With a new engine, I did 35 mph on a flat surface with the wind in my face. It was cold in Illinois today. I can’t wait till summer.

5 out of 5 Excellent Customer Service

    Hi!

My name is Bill from Orlando Florida and I just wanted to thank everyone at golden eagle for a wonderful bicycle engines and for their excellent customer service.

I purchase your bicycle engines at the end of march and the Honda 35cc 4 stroke engine from small engines. Both products have performed very well and reliable for me. Here is the picture of my golden eagle bicycle engines reliable and safer transportation.

Notice the name on the bicycle, and that is just what is does!. Roadmaster – Mt Climber!

I am also the not so proud owner of a 66cc Chinese bicycle that only lasted 20 miles before the small sprocket broke, locking up the back tire and causing me to fall down. Thanks to god I was not hit by the car behind me.
Here is the picture of my old unreliable bike.

My point, your bicycle engines I would recommend to anyone.

    Sincerely,
    Bill

I’ve had my 35cc “Gebe” gas bicycle for over a year now and I love it!!

I installed a K&N filter, I run Lucas oil at 20% mix, and she runs like a charm! Up here, in Canada, I only get to ride 7 or 8 months of the year, so I get out there on my gas bicycle every chance I get.

I have puncture resistant tires and tubes, dual L.E.D. lights front and rear and I always wear my helmet. I’ve found a small piece of velcro attached to the cable housing helps to take tension off the cable so it can enter the motor at a better angle.

Someone put a lot of thought into this gas bicycle kit and it’s very well engineered.
    Well done, Golden Eagle!”

5 out of 5 GEBE is by far the best!!

Just a short review to express my thanks to GEBE for making available to the public such a great product as the belt drive bike engine kits!! I have been building motor assisted bikes for over 5 yrs now and have tried just about every method there is to drive the bike such as friction and chain but I’m here to tell you that the belt drive system from GEBE is by far the best!!

This chopper tricycle is my latest project. Am using the Tanaka 40cc kit and by designing my own engine bracket am able to drive the rear wheel. I use a motorcycle twist grip throttle, Sturmey-archer front wheel, Whizzer gas tank and NuTek airfree tires all around. The trike with a 12 tooth drive sprocket and 24″ tires on the rear will do about 30 mph. Don’t even ask me about mpg because I am having so much fun on it I could care less…….lol

Well enough said except for you’re great product and the fantastic customer support!!!

    Have a great day……..The old guy from Oregon………Bob S.

5 out of 5 it has helped me maintain good health

    Dear Golden Eagle,

It has been almost two years since I started riding your “Bike Engine” and it has been lots of fun. Since I use it as a bicycle to go to work, and then turn on the motor on to return, it has helped me maintain a good health as well.

I made a few additions to allow the installation of a rack increasing the luggage space, by moving the motor toward the back. Here is a picture of how it looks.

I added fenders, lights and other accessories: this is the finished product.
I include a few pictures and a short video of my daughter riding it.

    Thank you!

5 out of 5 I could not be more pleased with the investment I made in this bike

I wanted a transportation alternative to my four-wheel drive Nissan Pathfinder — for short trips to the store and running around town. My goal was to find something for under $1,000 that was easy on the environment and at the same time gave enough cargo space for about six bags of groceries.

I started my research by renting a motor scooter to see what driving a scooter for a day would be like. As long as the engine is under 49cc’s, there is no insurance and no license needed in Missouri and the scooter had pretty good gas mileage (reported to be 90 MPG).

Although the scooter was fun to drive, I felt very vulnerable competing with automobiles and trucks for space on the road. And although it is possible to buy a slightly used scooter made in China for about $1,000, I was told by informed sources that it is difficult to get parts and repairs for this lower end of the scooter market.

Searching the internet, I explored the possibility of electric hub kits for bicycles. These electric conversion kits were very interesting and certainly a possibility for what I needed, but they didn’t seem to have quite the range or power I was looking for. If the batteries ran low, it would be “pedal power” all the way home. There was also the issue of down time between charges.

I then came across Golden Eagle’s website.

The converted bikes on their website didn’t look like clunky do-it-yourself jobs and the 200+ miles per gallon seemed almost too good to be true. I read every review on their website. The 4-stroke Robin-Subaru motors seemed to fit my needs and addressed the concern of reliability, replacement parts, and repair support. The motor is also extremely low on emissions (rated 1.33 on a 10 point “Air Index” scale), I could use regular gas straight from the pump and the cost was also in line with my budget …so I took the plunge and ordered a kit which arrived in 5 working days.

While waiting for the kit to arrive, I purchased a $180 Mongoose mountain bike from K-Mart. I wanted a bike with at least 2-point suspension to handle pot-holes and provide for rider comfort. When the kit arrived, I was surprised at how light the box was that contained the entire kit (about 19 pounds). It took approximately 2 hours to assemble. The only modification I needed to make on my bike was to drill one small hole to accommodate one of the brackets for the motor.

When I did have a few questions, my calls to Golden Eagle were returned immediately. Customer service was very friendly, helpful and efficient.

My first ride on my new bike was a blast! The motor started after a couple of pulls. It was extremely easy to ride and I was amazed at how little pedaling I needed to do (35cc motor). Because I could ride on the side of the road (as opposed to riding in traffic when I rode the scooter) I no longer needed to compete for road space with cars and trucks. Other drivers also seemed more respectful of a bicyclist than they were for a “motor scooterist”.

I was also surprised at the tremendous interest people expressed when they saw my bike. I didn’t get any negative reactions. I went to REI to purchase a cargo rack and the sales representative who worked there thought my bike was extremely cool. He was also amazed at how little the entire bike cost. A young customer at the store (probably 14 years old) just kept staring at my bike and asking me all sorts of questions.

To accommodate my trips to the grocery store, I purchased at Containers and More a collapsible plastic crate that is 14″ by 21″. This removable cargo space carries at least 6 bags of groceries. I also use a small carrier on the back cargo rack (see photo).

In summary, this bike provides the following:
Energy efficient – up to 200 MPG, low emissions
Can carry 6+ bags of groceries & other cargo
    Reliable
    Serviceable
    Lightweight
    Adequate range between fill-ups
    No oil-gas mixture needed
Can be used both on-road and off-road
Safety: About as safe as riding a bicycle
Economical: Entire project cost less than $900
I could not be more pleased with the investment I made in this bike.

P.S. — We currently have the technology to produce low-emission vehicles without sacrificing convenience (Toyota’s Prius is a good start) but there is enormous economic pressure from the oil industry to maintain the status quo (see the movie “Who Killed the Electric Car?”). It does not need to be this way. I encourage everyone to lower their “carbon footprint” by creating alternatives to vehicles that contribute to global warming. A very fun place to start is with a bicycle conversion kit from Golden Eagle!

5 out of 5 This has to be one of the greatest joys of my retirement

    Dear Golden Eagle staff,

My name is Ben and I bought one of your power units a couple of years ago. Since then I have had a heart attack and I’m also a polio survivor. With weakness in the quads of the right and hamstrings on the left (legs), I thought for a long time I would never be able to ride my “Putt” again. Last week I mentioned it to my Post Polio and cardiologist physicians that I had a power-assisted Trek OCLV (carbon fiber) bike and would like to ride it again. I got a resounding “go for it” from both and with some nice weather; I’ve ridden it every day since.

This has to be one of the greatest joys of my retirement and had it not been for your very well-designed bike powerplant, I would be spending most of my afternoons just watching TV. Thanks for giving me another shot at the “good life.” (The image is my bride of 30 years–she loves it too, but spends most of her fun time chasing grand children; I just ride off into the sunset and everyone wonders “do you think grandfather will ever come back?)…Thanks everyone!

    Sincerely,

5 out of 5 Thank you for your excellent customer service

Hi, my name is Mike. I have ordered a fair amount of stuff from you. I am from Maine and have rebuilt my redmax motor a couple times. The service is excellent and the word is getting out fast around here. I am not sure if sales are picking up or anything for you but your product is getting known. About 3 weeks ago I was run off the road at 40 mph and controlled the bike to a stop in the sand; I was able to get parts and repaired the bike.

Here is a picture of my bike at a very popular tourist attractions in Maine. The Globe is Delorme Mapping, the world’s largest globe that spins at the same speed and on the same axis as the earth.

I would like to thank you for your excellent customer service.

  21. Bill & Tel

5 out of 5 Bill & Tel’s Excellent Gas Powered Bicycle Adventure!

Ireland, as you are have doubtless heard, is a great place to visit – but perhaps not the best place to live all year round! – Rain, freezing winters, short winter days and long nights…and of course, those green rolling hills – not so great if you want to use a cycle to get around…enter the Golden Eagle gas powered bicycle!

Myself and Terry had previously used a couple of 33cc Campian engines sourced from Spain – great little machines but rather dirty in operation and hopeless in the rain (typical of the friction roller design). Having searched the planet for a suitable replacement we came across a forum contributor who spoke very highly of the design, performance, and reliability of the Golden Eagle gas powered bicycle, and it was at this point that the search for the holy grail of gas powered bicycle engines came to an end.

The first thing you discover about Golden Eagle is that they are just really nice folk who have a real interest in their customers – a very reassuring observation when you’re about to fork-out the best part of a £1000 ‘quid’ to someone on the other side of the sphere!

Tel had damaged his back during a weight lifting episode a few years ago and had some reservations about the degree of advantage the Golden Eagle gas powered bicycle would present over our existing engines – He had nothing to fear! After an almost effortless 30mins to secure the engines to our bikes, we set off for test number one – the Flush road in the Belfast hills. Even with the standard gear attached we had no difficulties getting over the hills – something we had never previously managed to do!

A few observations at this point – The gas bicycle engine improves dramatically after about 200 miles, so be patient and you will be richly rewarded. And whatever you do… don’t compromise on the quality of 2 stroke oil – the engine is designed to maximize performance with minimum emissions – it can’t spit out the rubbish you put into the tank like older conventional ‘dirty types’! Courtesy demands that I refrain from telling you which of the two cyclenauts was guilty of this error of judgement!…lets just say, Tel has now learnt his lesson (Gloat)!

Slemish Mountain was for us the ultimate test. Budding historians will recognize it as the place tradition states St Patrick spent his servitude after his captivity from mainland Britain prior to his conversion. After a terrible summer we finally made our way in mid August to the foothills of Slemish, some 35 miles north of Belfast, traversing several demanding hills in the Glens of Antrim along the way. The engines proved superb in every department – quiet, responsive, and very easy on the leg muscles (and the back)! After about 2 hours we reached the foothills of Slemish – great fun.

We had some reservations about how well the gas powered bicycle engines would perform in normal cycling mode – Yes, there is a little drag, but it won’t hinder the pleasure of a typical journey for the majority of cyclists. The only 2 adjustments we’ve had to make since the purchase was to lift the rear wheel a tad to tighten the belt, as this will stretch a little initially and come off occasionally in ‘standard cycling’ mode. And secondly, a simple adjustment to the throttle cable to stop the rear wheel spinning completely when the throttle is off.

In conclusion then, a super little engine, very well designed with remarkable power for its size. As Tel & I parked at the foothills of Slemish Mountain we couldn’t help wonder how much more dramatic St Patrick’s escape would have been with the assistance of a Golden Eagle gas bicycle engine! – I think there’s a Monty Python sketch in the making here – the idea certainly kept us amused all the way back to Belfast!

5 out of 5 One happy customer

Dear Sirs: I want to thank you for such excellent service and patients with me and my questions. As you know I have had the engine kit since 6/22/04 and let me tell you what a joy. I’m the only person in Yakima, WA that has this set up and I do get a lot of questions and stares. I’m just starting my third gallon of gas and have put 480 miles according the speedometer on my bike. My average speed is around 22.5 mph with a high of 31; at a little over 3/4 throttle, plenty fast for me. Going up hills and into the wind is a breeze. Around town is faster than in my car. One note when going up hills it’s like peddling on a flat surface with the wind at my back. With the price of gas most likely to go back up to 2$plus a gallon I expect to see your sales soar. Here are some photos of my bike Trek 7100.

I have installed a night hawk one touch head light, what a difference between it and the led light. I keep the led flashing for safety and the halogen to see where I’m going, good setup. As for the flasher, it’s 3 leds and can be seen for quite a distance but for seeing what’s on the road in front of you no good. the halogen that I have has a Ni-Mh rechargeable battery pack good for about 2 hr ride time,4.5 hr recharge time. I am going to install an alkaline light as a back up. Never enough lights and always be aware of cars on side streets, no one around here stops for stop signs. A good sight to go for more info on lights is starlight 78 bicycle lighting system.

    Have a good day,

5 out of 5 I’ve had it for about 2 years now

    Hi,

My experience with the golden eagle bike engine has been great. I’ve had it for about 2 years now, and have had minimal problems, considering the abuse I put it through. I installed it on my mountain bike – an old steel frame Specialized Stumpjumper (pre-shocks). I guess that I’ve put about 1,500 miles on it.

The main reason I purchased the engine was because I needed a shuttling option to get me to trailheads. Typically, I’ll park the car at the bottom of the trail, and then motor up dirt or paved road to the trail-head. Depending on whether the trail has much climbing, I’ll either take the motor off (takes only about 5 minutes) and stash it near by, or just disconnect the drive-belt (takes < 1 minute). Having this shuttling option has expanded my riding range tremendously, and I can easily do 20 miles of fantastic single-track riding in a day. Even though I didn't plan on it when I bought the engine, I now also look forward to motor ride as well.

5 out of 5 The gas savings has more than paid for the engine

    Hello,

I would like to say I am very impressed with your product. I am rebuilding my recumbent this winter with some modifications, but here is a picture of it from late fall 2003. I rode it to work/school most of the riding season. It’s a 26 mile round trip, mostly a flat ride, but there is one hill, and I tell you I am so thankful for that little engine. I have a speedo on it and I believe I have it dialed in correctly – 27 MPH on the flats and 34 down hill. Not to bad considering I weigh 250 and the bike is pretty heavy at around 80 lbs (with engine). Along with riding in town, I can say I spent less than $3 in gas a week, not bad considering the stop and go in town and it did most of the work. In my Lincoln, I was spending $27 a week. The gas savings has more than paid for the engine and well on the way to paying for the bike itself.

I am designing a lean-steer recumbent that will hopefully be completed before Fall/Winter 2004 and that motor will be on that bike too!!

Again, thanks for making a great product.

5 out of 5 Discovering my country all over again

I have an enjoyable time with my Eagle, now I can go where I want and pry the streets and roads of Singapore. Explore old historical and popular places without having to make long walks and be exhausted. Look for nice oriental food all around my country, without having to worry about getting lost. Visit places where it is difficult or no public transport can be located. It just makes me feel that I’m discovering my country all over again. This beautiful sunny country is located in Southeastern Asia, islands between Malaysia and Indonesia.

Glad that I’ve made the right decision in owning a Golden Eagle Engine and the support given by Julia and the patience by Dennis who finally convinced me to purchase the gear. Been sourcing for a MAB (Motor Assisted Bicycle) for quite sometime and couldn’t really make up my mind, until I visited several websites and the one that had plenty of good feedback was Golden Eagle Bike Engines their respond is great and they did a lot of explanations for a layman like me. There is also an internet forum site where I was being introduced to seek for more opinion about MAB. Well, I need not explain further and got my first MAB and am glad it is a Golden Eagle product and hope to have years of fun with it.

5 out of 5 Answer to my bicycling dreams

Hello Golden Eagle Bike Engine Guys,

Your bike engine has been a blast and an answer to my bicycling dreams. I ride two hours every nice day I get though the beautiful hills of upstate New York. In my younger years I was a serious bicycling road warrior but I have long since been unable to maintain the speeds and travel the distances I like. Your bicycle engine mounted on my fully suspended trail bike has given me the best of both worlds. Exercise, speed and comfort. I use your mountain gear to peddle through the hills of New York with ease and maintain speeds otherwise impossible. The custom muffler you provided is a great addition to the bicycle engine and lets me cruse unnoticed through the village before I start peddling full throttle down scenic back roads. Now there is always a breeze and smile on my face.

    Thanks, Jess in New York

5 out of 5 I can’t live with out it

    Hi Golden Eagle,
This is Troy from Salisbury, Maryland. I’ve had my golden eagle kit for about a year now. I have at least 3,000 miles on the engine. I can’t live with out it. I ride almost every day.
I had the engine on a diamondback mountain bike. I put a lot of miles on it plus had a lot of fun. But nothing compares to my latest bike, a specialized 24″ Vegas freestyle bike. The Golden Eagle kit is perfect for this bike. You can hop up on curbs, jumps small hills and take sharper turns on 24″ bikes as compared to mountain bikes. The only thing I miss is gears so you can peddle top end with the engine. That’s alright though; I can switch the engine from one bike to the other in less than 15 minute’s. I’ll eventually get another Golden Eagle kit for my mountain bike too.
I’ve heard rumors of a high performance tuned exhaust. Can’t even imagine that. GeBe are great; they will take care of you. One can’t go wrong with this product!

    Keep riding,
    Troy in Maryland

5 out of 5 Bike riding has a whole new meaning!

    Golden Eagle Bike Engines,
Just wanted to let you know we have ridden the bike several times since we installed the Golden Eagle equipment. It worked really well. I think we rode more miles already this year than we did all of last year. It is really great to go out on a ride and not have to worry how far you go. Anyway I have attached a photo of our bike and the two riders. We do have helmets! Just wanted to look good for the picture. The motor and mountain gear works well for the weight. Max speed is 25mph, by far faster than we can pedal. I would certainly recommend this product. Nothing else I am aware of can compare. The drive pulley and belt assembly is obviously more efficient than a friction drive. Bike riding has a whole new meaning! It put the fun back into riding.
    Thanks,
    Jerry & Rita in Wisconsin

5 out of 5 Blast to ride

Hey folks, this is great. I’ve now had my Golden Eagle kit for 3 months and I have just finished the first 2gal. can of gas. Wow. I know that the rest of the country is shoveling snow and bundling up against frigid winter, but here in Naples, FL it has been nice enough to enjoy zipping around almost daily. My youngest is driving now and he uses my car, so I depend on my powered bike for everyday use, commuting to work, running errands and riding just for fun.

I am the Recreation and Youth guy at a Methodist Church and I sometimes do present lessons in unconventional ways. One day my boss called me into her office. I was all worried about who I’ve offended now or what hot water I must be in. To my surprise, Rev. Lois presented me with a gift of a brand new 7-speed cruiser bike. She was concerned for my safety, buzzing around town at 30 mph on my classic old Schwinn Heavy Duti with the coaster brake. I am sending a photo of the bike and I want to thank you for being such a great company to work with.

I now believe as I know you do, that this is the best and most enjoyable transportation available. Even though it’s a blast to ride, this is not a toy. It’s a real motor vehicle and it’s easy on the planet. Everyone who tries it goes out skeptical and comes back smiling.

I am very happy with your product and your company. It couldn’t have been made any easier to install and it is a pleasure to ride. You have been available with answers for all my questions and that’s what makes a satisfied customer.

    Sincerely,
    David in Florida

5 out of 5 Runs like a bat outta hell!

My Motorized bicycle kit arrived a couple of days ago. It runs like a bat outta hell! Thanks. Here is a picture of the bike by the Pacific Ocean. I haven’t quite gone through a gallon of gas, so I guess that means a couple hundred miles. I shut it off when I’m coasting into town. The thing is great for going down to the headlands in the early morning to look at the ocean, to see if we’re going to work. (Have to judge the swells to see if it’s dive-able). Sure is fun to ride, and it’s already turned some heads…

I was extremely and pleasantly surprised with how simple the kit was to assemble and install. It seemed like less than 30 minutes and I was zipping down the road with smile on my face. Your motorized bicycle installation instructions were easy to follow. I appreciated the attention to detail and the large step by step pictures. Your motorized bicycle is quiet, clean and frankly one of the best I’ve ever seen. The belt drive system is super smooth and travels well over wet land. It can power through all terrain so far. The automatic clutch makes the motorized bicycle operation simple and safe with no gears, levers, or clutches (or a hot engine between my legs). You just squeeze the trigger throttle and go.

I first discovered the motorized bicycle after my son mentioned he wanted to get a dirt bike. Obviously, dirt bikes and a motorized bicycle are the not the same thing but looking around on a couple of websites gave me the inspiration to build my first motorized bicycle. I have always enjoyed bicycle riding but have not been able to do it as much because of various back problems. My motorized bicycle has allowed me to continue to ride and to “ride in style.”

    Thanks again,

5 out of 5 Runs like a dream

I like everything about riding a bicycle but the peddling. Sitting up high with the wind in my face, and parking right up front where ever I go is great.

I have owned 2 electric scooters and 2 gas-powered bicycles. The electric units are heavy, short on range and performance. When I finish my trip it takes 4 to 6 hours to recharge before I can go again. The gas-powered bicycle was better. Its performance was good and refueling took only a minute. Unfortunately the friction drive on the tire slipped on take off much of the time and almost didn’t work if the tire got wet.

The solution came from Golden Eagle. The belt drive works better than advertised. The engine runs like a dream. I now have over 450 miles on my bike with the belt drive in rain and shine. This unit has turned my bicycle into reliable, fuel efficient, low cost transportation.

I live in Florida and have no desire to pedal a bicycle in 90 degree heat to an air-conditioned restaurant to enjoy a meal. I think a bicycle has two roles in life. One is to be used for exercise and the other is for transportation.

If you ride a bicycle with this motor you might join the group of weird people that have weed eater motors but don’t do lawns.

By the way Golden Eagle is a great company, with a great product, and excellent customer service.

5 out of 5 Exceeded my expectations

    Dear GeBe:
Thanks for the prompt shipment and follow up on your kit. Your kit has exceeded my expectations. I weigh 180lbs and my bike exceeds 30mi/hr on level road. It is almost scary! Everywhere I ride people stare and smile as I ride by. Everywhere I stop people come up and want to know more and take a “test” ride. It is a great product, goes fast, so make sure you wear a helmet!

Here is a picture of my bike just before I boarded Amtrak. The local train has bike racks in the baggage car. Only $5 extra for the bike! Both the conductors wanted to know more about your kit as the bike was unloaded. The interest never ends!

5 out of 5 Installation was a breeze

I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying my Golden Eagle bike engine. Thank you so much for getting back to me. I have to compliment you on being the FIRST company to ever email or call and let me know more about this system. I’ve been using friction drive for the last four months, having gone through 4 tires already. This worked for about 250 miles per tire. The vibration would limit my riding time as for my hands get numb. Now, with the Golden Eagle, I have no worries about blowing out the rear tire due to excess heat build-up and drive wheel breaking down the tire tread. Having this new design allows me to go such further distances away from home in total confidence. I’m really enjoying the Golden Eagle bike engine. It is a lot of fun. Installation was a breeze. I ‘m a completely satisfied customer. Thanks so much for being such a GREAT new company.
